Bugs item #653895, was opened at 2002-12-14 15:57 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=653895&group_id=12997 Category: 16. [scrollbar] Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Jeffrey Hobbs (hobbs) Summary: Mac: scrollbar set:slider wrong Initial Comment: On Tk-Aqua the scrollbar slider size and position is not corectly configured by the scrollbar set command. Bug can be demonstrated by: grid [scrollbar .s] -row 0 -column 0 -sticky ns grid rowconfigure . 0 -weight 1 .s set .1 .9 the slider is positioned between ~.25 and ~.75 try .s set .0001 .9999 -there is no way using set to make a slider that is longer than 0.5 the height of the scrollbar. now try .s set .1 .99 .s set .01 .9 the slider jumps to the bottom then the top of the scroll bar. In the sources it appears that the middle of the scrollbar is being set to first_fraction/(first_fraction+1- last_fraction), when it appears to me that it would be more appropriate to set the middle of the scrollbar to (first_fraction+last_fraction)/2 I'm not sure where the bug in the slider length comes in. This may be a bug in the non-Aqua versions for the Mac as well. -w...@ea... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=653895&group_id=12997 |
