[*button] and [label] Group: 8.4b3 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 9 Submitted By: Don Porter (dgp) Assigned to: Jeffrey Hobbs (hobbs) Summary: button appearance/behavior changed Initial Comment: In wish 8.4b3, % pack [button .b] pass the pointer over the button, and it will change color (relief?). Move the pointer away from the button, and it does not change back to its original appearance. Don't recall seeing this before. Something recent? Perhaps the 2002-08-13 change? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Don Porter (dgp) Date: 2002-08-27 18:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=80530 I believe the problems are due to the 2002-08-13 changes made to library/button.tcl Were those changes made to address Bug 582457? ChangeLog does not say. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: D. Richard Hipp (drh) Date: 2002-08-27 16:23 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=69293 Is this problem related to bug number 582457? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Don Porter (dgp) Date: 2002-08-27 14:16 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=80530 Yes, this is worse than just appearance. When the pointer leaves a button, it leaves it in state "active", so if you had an interface that depended on the ability to "grey-out" certain buttons, this just completely breaks it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Georgios Petasis (petasis) Date: 2002-08-27 14:09 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=92283 I was just about to submit the same bug :-) Now, my "toolbar" widget fails miserably. Even the colourful buttons change appearence when the mouse leaves them. See the attached file "toolbar.tcl"... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112997&aid=597920&group_id=12997 |
