A couple of years back I read about '\\?\' and thought, "oh, that must
be easy" and tried to insert that stuff in the tcl-win-core file
native path building code (prepend _all_ native paths with it, since
we need to carry out a utf->native conversion step anyway we're not
actually doing any real extra work). It didn't work, but I would
encourage anyone to give it a further investigation..
