a wish-aqua app crashes sporadically at different points on different machines often as soon as it starts up. I see this error appearing in the console. Does anyone have any idea what the cause is (and I don't have experience using any c debuggers on the mac) This is 8.4.9 on OSX 10.3.9. The app. is almost entirely tk scripts, with only some minor changes to c code that have been there for a long time (and don't use malloc). Thanks for any help. *** malloc[369]: Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x4e4a0d0; This could b e a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try s etting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug *** malloc[369]: Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x4e5e6d0; This could b e a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try s etting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug *** malloc[369]: error for object 0x4e5e6d0: Incorrect checksum for freed object - object was probably modified after being freed; break at szone_error Robert Karen |
