Can you update the TIP with the recent discussion?  This discussion is
quite pertinent, I believe (even if it was mostly negative about the
TIP's precise proposal, preferring alternative solutions to that
presented).  As it stands the TIP does not accurately reflect the full
discussion at all, IMHO.

My non-counting vote is 'no', since this TIP just seems to go against the
whole x-platform philosophy of Tk. If the authors have future x-platform
plans (as indicated), then I think a new, better TIP can be filed with
those plans.
