I would like to target an 8.4.6 release as well as the initial 8.5a1 release for mid-February. This means I would like to call code freeze on these Sunday, Feb 15th, midday. If we can make this target, we can get full ActiveTcl builds this month for both (yes, the first ActiveTcl 8.5 build for everyone's enjoyment). 8.4.6 stable update: This will have minor updates, but there are a few other open bugs that are still being examined and would be great to fix. 8.5a1: This will be the first alpha of 8.5, which means we are still in feature creep mode, but this will provide others a preview of some of the changes that are already in 8.5. If these dates don't make sense for some reason, tell me. I will be attending FOSDEM (http://www.fosdem.org/) Feb 21-22 in Brussels. There will be a Tcl Developer Room for both days (outside of keynote sessions). Anyone in the vicinity should drop in (it's a free conference).
