This is the first post, and the new home of the T.A.T.E.R. project!
Tater is an autonomous rover designed to roam around an area, periodically taking pictures of it's surroundings, transmitting them back to the pc, while avoiding obstacles. Provisions for a PC client (S.O.U.P) will be made, so that observation and manual override of controls is possible.
Future plans for tater include image processing, a manipulator arm, solar charging, ruggedization, etc.
Tater is based on the GHI FEZ Domino platform running the .NET Micro Framework 4.0.
