I occasionally found that all tasks starting from my first day of using TaskUnifier are still available in file tasks_v3.xml. If some of them have been deleted then these tasks are not shown in the list of all task, but they were not deleted completely (physically). Even, I can see deleted tasks if I open Tags list, click on one of my tags and click again to close Tags list (see attached screenshoot with deleted "first task" ). Manual editing of xml-file to delete all tasks which have <modelstatus>TO_DELETE</modelstatus> does not harm TaskUnifier, but it is complicated way for heavy TaskUnifier user, who has a lot of deleted tasks.
I am currently using binary linux version 4.0.0 on Fedora 18, but I see the deleted tasks from times that I worked also on different systems (linux and windows). Hope, that you can fix this problem. I like TaskUnifier very much ;-)

I'm not able to reproduce this problem, once deleted the task never shows up again.
I keep deleted tasks because this is needed for synchronization purpose.
And I cannot simply remove them completely if you don't use synchronization, because maybe the synchronization plugin needs to be updated and then for one moment, no synchronization is selected while you actually use one.

I did not use synchronization feature in past and do not have plans to use it in the future. I do not like to share a sensitive/private information with any one.

The cleaning up of deleted tasks only during or after synchronization was not known for me.

May be, for such users as me, you can extend a delete function or/and a dummy plugin (of course, if you have time for that) to be able to remove locally created/deleted tasks without necessity to do synchronization.

But, in any case, it is more like a feature request... and manual clean up files outside TU is not so complicated. Thanks!
