Just installed taskcoach on Fedora 30. When I open taskcoach (without an old ini-file) I have a task-viewer and a catagory views. If i create a new viewer (eg. effort viewer) i get a new floating viewer. On previous installations I could move til new viewer to one og many positions on the mail view - but nor I can't drag it at all. It's like the capture doesn't respond. I can chance size of the floating view dragging til lower right corner, and I can close the window with the close icon in the upper-right corner - but that is alle i can do to change the new viewer.

Any suggetions?

/Thomas

    I dont know if this has any thing to do with the problem, but if I start taskcoach from the commandline jeg get som debug info like:

    (taskcoach:18700): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 00:22:32.074: gtk_widget_set_size_request: assertion 'height >= -1' failed

    I wish I knew what to do to investigate this problem. I hope Jerome can look into it. I wonder if it's an issue with the outdated wx framework. Probably will be fully fixed (or otherwise the whole feature overhauled) when/if we ever port to qt, but for now, there's probably some way to debug. I'm not sure where to start.

    Hi Thomas, the dragging issues could not be resolved within Python2, but I'm excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach packages for Debian and Ubuntu based systems, you can try the AppImage, but I'm using the .deb options and everything is working for me. Give it a try and report bugs there, cheers!

    If issues still arise, we can now at least actually work on fixing them!
