I bet you are using Wayland right? Something needs to be updated in the Task Coach files for Wayland at least under KDE in my experience

Hi, excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach codebase! Packages are available for some common Linux systems, and the icon issue in Wayland has been fixed!

How can I test your update on my Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS system, as I don't even know how it was installed as I don't see it in the installed application.
