Hello there!

When I quit task coach, I get a popup "an error occurred. See taskcoachlog" or so (I get it in German....). In the log I find:
============= Sun Nov 11 21:16:40 2018
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/taskcoachlib/notify/notifier_libnotify.py:31: PyGIWarning: Notify was imported without specifying a version first. Use gi.require_version('Notify', '0.7') before import to ensure that the right version gets loaded.
import gi.repository.Notify

My tasks seem fine so far... should I worry?

Best regards, Wolfgang

    I don't think it's catastrophic. Backups of your task file are always a good idea no matter what.

    I hope Jerome can answer sometime about the specifics.

    by the way: this problem occurs on an ubuntu 18.04 system where I just got taskcoach to start again. I open the same file also from a Win7 computer, where I don't get that error.

    Hi, 7 years later (from this issue ticket), I'm excited to tell you that https://github.com/taskcoach/taskcoach now has updated Python3 Task Coach codebase! Packages are available for some common Linux systems and we can add more.

    Whatever the old warnings were, they should be resolved now. If you get new errors, we can work to fix them now that development is happening again.

    Cheers
