I had only gotten as far as trying to edit tasks when I first reported the bug. Afterwards, I tried closing TC, got an error message, and the attached log file.
Languages & Text > Formats
Region: United States
attached a screenshot of the Language & Text Window
attached a screenshot of the error
attached new taskcoachlog.txt from 1.3.27
This is pretty broken. I'm on same old American English as always, never touched my date settings. Here's the error log. It does seem date format related but not for different systems, simply something is broken within Task Coach's interpretation of date format.

Note: there are underscores around the "init" part that Markdown is interpreting to make the text bold.
Also, attached is the file (it has nothing in it really, it's a new test file). Also, I tried with a fresh .ini and that made no difference.
A fix was made and checked into the source code repository of Task Coach. The fix will be part of the next release. You will get another notification when that release is available with the request to install the new release and confirm that your issue has indeed been fixed.
Because a fix has been made for this bug report, the priority of this report has been lowered to 1 and its resolution has been set to 'Fixed'.

The log itself doesn't seem to come from 1.3.27 though. Could you try deleting it and retrying with 1.3.27 ?

What are your date formats ? It's in the "Region" tab of the "Language and text" system preferences.

guess i can only attach one file at a time.

Works on 10.5 and 10.8; I'll try to get my hands on a Snow Leopard...
For reference, I'm avoiding my Mac more and more these days, but it's running Snow Leopard, so I can test things maybe
Thanks. But I've been wanting to reinstall SL on my Air for some time, perfect occasion to stop procrastinating :)
using appcleaner, kept going back a version. Finally am not getting the error in version 1.3.24
It works fine for me on 10.6.8 with those same settings, I'm a bit lost.
I'm using 10.7.5 (Lion). Maybe only the newer versions of the OS have this problem.
Works for me on Mountain Lion as well; could you attach a screenshot of your time formats as well ?
Here is the screenshot:
The screenshot doesn't seem to have uploaded. Probably a SourceForge bug; could you upload it again ?
I can reproduce the same problem!
