No

When I'm entering dates for a new task, I'm trying to use the keyboard as much as possible. I'm jumping between controls using the Tab key. When I jump to a checkbox that is not selected, it does not give any visual clue it has a focus. I must count the number of Tab keystrokes to be able to navigate to the desired checkbox.

So, the non-selected checkbox should somehow visualize it has a focus. Alternatively, there could be keyboard shortcuts to jump directly to a specific checkbox, like Due Date, Start Date et cetera.

Thanks for loooking into it.

This is gonna take longer than I expected; there seems to be a bug in the underlying toolkit. With the half-fix I just committed, a selection rectangle is drawn on the right of the checkbox but only the second time it gets focus...

Adding a useless, maybe annoying comment: it works great for me in GNU/Linux! The highlight around the box is shown just fine! Everyone should use GNU/Linux, it's good for freedom etc.

Ok, of course this doesn't make a bug on any system acceptable, so I hope it gets fixed. But anyway, it's a Windows bug not an all-around bug.

This bug should be fixed in the latest release of Task Coach. Can you please install the latest release of Task Coach and confirm that this bug has indeed been fixed?

    Thanks, Task Coach development team

As Jerome has written in the fix comment - the focus rectangle only gets displayed the second time the checkbox gets focus. Better than nothing :-)

    Thanks

A fix was made and checked into the source code repository of Task Coach. The fix will be part of the next release. You will get another notification when that release is available with the request to install the new release and confirm that your issue has indeed been fixed.

If you like, you can download a recent build from http://www.fraca7.net/TaskCoach-packages/latest_bugfixes.py to test the fix.

Because a fix has been made for this bug report, the priority of this report has been lowered to 1 and its resolution has been set to 'Fixed'.
    Thanks, Task Coach development team

On a side note, there was already a functional visual indication for me with KDE Linux and now there is a non-standard extra bold but slightly not centered (too high) visual indicator now. In other words, it wasn't needed on KDE, and now there's extra indication, which isn't really a problem, might even be more clear than the standard, but just a little odd.

Not to mention it's ugly on XP :) I tried to go with the standard dashed outline but I couldn't because of a bug in wx.
