Running Windows 7, using a new (non-customized) .ini file I selected View/New viewer/Task. The new viewer was positioned at the top left of my screen.

Unfortunately I have my Windows start bar at the top. The only way to move the Tasks view is to move my Windows Taskbar, move the Task Coach view, and then move my Windows Taskbar again.

After I moved the Task view I closed it and opened another. It also was created at the top left, the last close position wasn't used.

My other programs (Thunderbird and Firefox in this case) move out of the way when I move the Windows Taskbar. When I moved the Taskbar to the bottom Firefox moved up, and then moved back down when the Taskbar was moved up. Full-screen Thnunderbird adjusted to the non-Taskbar space after each move.

The Task Coach view window didn't adjust at all. It clings to the top left when the Taskbar is at the top, at the left, or elsewhere.

This may be an issue with the underlying wxWidgets, but we certainly have ways of adjusting things to fix this. Thanks for the report. We'll look into it ASAP.

    Cheers,
    Aaron

A fix was made and checked into the source code repository of Task Coach. The fix will be part of the next release. You will get another notification when that release is available with the request to install the new release and confirm that your issue has indeed been fixed.

If you like, you can download a recent build from http://www.fraca7.net/TaskCoach-packages/latest_bugfixes.py to test the fix.

Because a fix has been made for this bug report, the priority of this report has been lowered to 1 and its resolution has been set to 'Fixed'.
    Thanks, Task Coach development team
