    Hi,
I would like to use the plugins. However, they do not show up in the list for configuration. Where do I have to put them (already tried same directory as tail.exe and renamint test-plugins to plugins)?

    My Tail version is 4.2.3

      Hi Mathias,

Creating a directory 'plugins' under the folder containing the exe should do the trick. Are you running Tail from a shortcut? If so, is the working directory the same as the exe?

Could you try creating an empty file 'tail.log' in the same directory as the exe and the run up the application. You should see something like:

      [20031112 09:38:07] (00000494) Looking for plugins in 'B:\home_paul\dev\sourceforge\tail\Tail\Debug\plugins\'

The directory indicated is the where Tail expects the DLLs to live.

If this still doesn't work, then please let me know and I'll try to work out what's happening.

      Thanks,

          Paul.

Thanks for the tip with the logfile. Strange enough, it seems to load the plugin. However, in the configuration it does not show up (no entry in the list).

      Oops! Seems I messed up!

I've just uploaded version 4.2.5. This fixes the issue.

      Thanks for reporting this!

          Paul.
