Hi

I've a Wacom PL-400 that I'm trying to use on a G4 Powerbook. The serial
to USB adapter is working fine and Tablet magic recognises the tablet. I
can get the cursor to move tiny fractions or click once or twice, but that's
it. The status light on the tablet lights whenever I put pressure on through
the pen or click, so it is receiving input. I've tried manipulating the
settings, to no avail.

Do you have any suggestions to get the tablet functioning properly?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.

Regards

    Hello,
First, thank you very much for this good job.
I have some difficulty to explain in english, but i submit to you some idea to implement the pressure controle. With my Gd 1212 r000 i do activate ,the serial keyspan driver to work with continous tracing. If not activate the stilus draw a line with two parameter (start and end of the action pointer).
The sensitive pressure is very versatile. I think that is because the scale factory for the pressure captor on tablet have not linéar but logarythmic response. In the controle panel you can implement a choice for linear or log control of pressure that depend what job you want to do.
    Sorry for my poor english.
    Regards
