#80 firefox toolbars and menus are blacked out

When using the tab effect, upon starting firefox, the menu bar area is totally blacked out. Some of it becomes normal after running the mouse over it, but some remains blacked out. I uninstalled all other add ons one at a time to figure out what was causing it, and it was this one. I used to use the original one in firefox 2, and that one worked great. But won't work with firefox 3.0, which is what I am currently using. OS is Windows XP Pro. Direct X 9c. (Freshly reinstalled system).

When using Tab Effect 2.0:
• Firefox totally blacks out
• an error messege of Firefox asks to stop a script and restarts it when accepting
• Tab Effect 2.0 works not correctly then: next tab always pops up for a short time before 3D effect starts
• sometimes the content of the websites is white during the 3D effect
• some websites are unable to get loaded, but the space of the them is totally white and there is no error messege, while their "loading symbols" keep moving
