at the beginning the addon worked perfectly... now, i don't understand why, the cube effect has been replaced by black screen...

Yes, I concur. Am having the same problem even after uninstalling and reinstallin both Firefox and the extension. I'm using FF v2.0.0.1 and Tab Effect v1.1

i´m in the same situtation, i have installed firefox 2.0.0.1, OS WindowsXP professional, directx 9.0c, i has disabled and uninstalled all others extension, i has uninstalled all themes but always happen the same, appears a black screen

I am having the same problem and I think this could be for the directx version currently running.
