To repeat goto mouse gbrowse with chrome developer tools turned on. Make sure that annotate strain snps from perlegen plugin is selected. You will get an internal server error.

Plugins for dbSNP and Perlegen don't seem to work (give an internal server error with Can't call method "name" on an undefined value at /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.1/Bio/Graphics/Browser2/Render.pm line 196.

We think that this is a GBrowse problem (other sites have this issue) and have sent a message to the list for help. In the meantime this is a known bug

    This issue still in RC2.14 suggest commenting out plugins until a fix is found.
