BUG -image loading very slow and timing out

I am experiencing very slow image load on project .3803 (Parker MS 1). I'm
on TPEN LIVE. I've also had slow loads on project 3921 (private upload).

The Stanford images are now '_xlarge', which makes them ¼ of their previous size. The private images are lightning fast, so whatever problems Jim had there were either transitory or imaginary.
