I use Synkron to backup files and is is very good but I find that I have to use FreeFileSync's hash check ability when I am consolidating backups of backups from some older hard drives that are beginning to give read errors. FreeFileSync has this functionality but is not as flexible as Synkron. It would be nice if Synkron could provide verification during a three way sync that a good file is not overwriting a bad one. If Synkron already does this I have not been able to find this information. I think is important to know that in general files are actually the same and intact when it is important.

Additionally if there is a temporary hash database of the files, they can be all compared and if file hashes are the same file could be moved instead of recopied to save time.
