Created folder 1 and folder 2 as master. Activated "propagate deletions".

Folder1 and folder 2 containing the same file test.

Scenario:
1. If I delete file test in folder 1, doing sync will also delete it in folder 2. --> correct
2. Restore, in order to have file test in folder 1 and folder 2 again.
3. If I delete file test now in folder 2, doing sync will restore the file in folder 2 again. -> wrong. IMO file test should be deleted in folder 1.

Hope I wrote the problem in an understandable way.

Did you sync the folders in Synkron after you restored the previously deleted file (step 2)?

    Hi Matus,

I had a similar issue with version 1.6.1 under Windows XP SP2.

Folder 1 (master) vs Folder 2 (slave) containing the same set of test files including one *.lnk file (Windows shortcut files). "Propagate Deletions" & "Detect Collisions" have been activated.

    Scenario:
1/ delete *.lnk file from Folder2 (slave)
2/ do sync with synkron deletes file from Folder1 (master) => this is wrong! Folder1 is master => deleted file from Folder2 had to be copied from Folder1 (master) to Folder2 (slave) by synchronisation.

I can reproduce at will if you wish I can provide you test files and some screenshots.

Update: if I check "Do not modify the contents of this folder" on the master (Folder1), then the desired behaviour occurs, ie. deleted file from Folder2 is recreated from the copy in Folder1.

Still I think this is a bug ;-)

Anyway, great job! Synkron is a fantastic tool... I'll try it @ home under Ubuntu 9.10 64bit (and try to reproduce this issue).
I personnaly use rsync and i'm really happy with it, but your tool is fantastic for those who don't feel comfortable with command-line apps ;-)

    Keep up the great job,
    Kind regards,

    Manuel
