[Synfig-user] Synfig on XP missing the GIF lib?

Hi All - I just installed synfig on Windows XP pro, and was working through the animation tutorial that's on the wiki at synfig.com
   
  I couldn't get the render command to work that was suggested in the tutorial, and I noticed that there is no gif library in the lib folder.
   
  Does anyone know if it's not available in xp, or if it is out there, where I could get it?
