5. timetrack dialog > left click in 'canvas' row

Partially fix 1689282: stops the crash when clicking in timetrack dialog

This stops the crash, but I think the underlying problem still exists. 
Why is this set ever empty?  How should we react when the user tries to
interact with waypoints on a 'canvas' line in the timetrack?
