#13 No keyboard or mouse on galaxy S4 (4.4.2)

I installed synergy 1.4.16-r1969 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
Also installed apk (synergy-0.0005-Android) on Galaxy S4 (4.4.2 Kitkat)
I started the server on Ubuntu and I am also able to connect my android to Ubuntu.
I can also see the server log like "INFO: switch from "galaxyS4" to "kpg-optiplex" at 1360,381" and vice-versa.. but nothing visible on the mobile.

EDIT: Galaxy S4 is on Stock 4.4.2 ROM

Is you synergy connection encrypted? (on server side)

Hi, I bought the app yesterday and I have the same problem. It won't connect on my S4.

I tried on different configs and OSs (details below) with no luck. I did check the uinput and changed its config (chmod 666 and 777) with no effect (also tried with dev/input/event0).
Connections were unencrypted and succesfully logged by the servers (entering, leaving, x/y, etc) but mouse pointer did not appear on the device and keyboard did not work either.

Let me know if you need any logs/data.

Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 4.4.2 I9505XXUFNB8 ROOTED (permissions were given to Synergy app by SuperSU).

OSs: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS 64-bit & Windows 7 64bits

Servers: Synergy 1.5.1 (Ubuntu and Windows) + 1.4.1 (Ubuntu repos)

Clients: Release 0.0005 Alpha,
Release 0.0004 Alpha.
Release 0.0003 would not install.

Note: Also tried from ubuntu on;

· Generic Android Tablet (missing uinput): same result.
· Rooted Samsung Galaxy Mini (present uinput): No pointer/mouse functions but keyboard works.

I have the same issue with my Tablet: rooted Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and the server is an ubuntu laptop, I cannot seem to get the mouse to appear on the tablet or the keyboard to work

here is the output from synergy on the laptop:

As you can see, it appears to work, and I can see it with the mouse: the mouse disappears over the side and it takes a while to come back when scrolling back slowly, which means it was sent but nothing appears on the tab,

I have given it root access when running, so now I need to know if I need to do something else
