Hi! There's one feature in SynEdit that really makes me mad. It is also in the M$ RichEdit. I have Czech version of Windows. There are two keyboard layouts there. One - Czech - is suited to write Czech letters, essays etc. The other one - English - is suited for programming. My default layout is English. I develop my own programmers' editor using SynEdit and I want it to use the default layout when it's run, like any other NORMAL application. But the stupid thing sets the layout to Czech when it starts, ignoring the default settings that all the other apps obey. How can I get rid of this ***STUPID*** behavior. Daniel Novotny p.s. the Czech keyboard layout is different from English in tis way: it has the special Czech characters used in our language - but on the other hand there's not an easy access to characters like "#" and "$" and "^" etc. used in programming. grrrrr... |
