Hi Daniel, =20 Thanks for the answer. If is not asking too much, can you give me a = little help on this CVS stuff. Since I never use it before, I made a = search for a GUI interface tha could allow me to download all current = files from the CVS repository at SourceForge. How should I configure it = in order to make a full download? (CVSROOT, protocol, server, port, = repository and username). =20 Cheers, =20 Eric Paschoalick Chaves ------------------------------------------------ Gradiente In Motion - Tecnologia 55 (11) 3097-7327 -----Mensagem original----- De: Daniel Rikowski [mailto:dan...@ad...]=20 Enviada em: segunda-feira, 10 de fevereiro de 2003 08:21 Para: syn...@li... Betreff: [Synedit-user] bug or missbehave with = SynCompletionProposal.OnExecute =09 =09 Hi fellows, =20 I use the OnExecute event of SynCompletionProposal to feed it's = ItemList at runtime. At the beginning of the event I clear the lists, = call a procedure that feeds it with the current allowed values (based on = a "context" of what the user is editing) and change the form's title to = the current context, save the new list to disk (just to confirm the = problem) and fire away. During my tests, at the first call the list is = feeded with 12 items and at the second call the list is feeded with 2 = items only. However, after the first call the "completion form" still = being rendered with the old values (12 instead of 2). This behavior = always occurs at the second call and from there, sometime the list is = rendered right, sometimes with the old value. The list is being feeded = correctly, (I can see that by checking the saved file, usinmg the form's = title and debugging with IDE). While debbuging, if I check the vlaue of = SynCode.ItemList.Count it is correct (for example, during the second = render it is always 2), but when the = TSynBaseCompletionProposalForm.Paint is trigered the value has returned = to 12. I'm not sure that this is a bug (since I can't imagine how this = could be happening, once there is no cache or something related in the = component), it's more probably that I'm doing something wrong here, but = I just can't find it. =20 How could this be happening, any ideas? =20 Another problem that I have is that I wish to change the = "completion form" type during runtime. I'm doing this also at the = OnExecute event where sometimes I assigne the Kind property a value of = ctParam, sometimes ctCode. Doins this gimme a error message saying that = it could'nt change the value of visible element, altought it does. How = can I avoid this message? =20 Cheers, =20 =09 Eric -------------------------- "On the side of evil lies trickery" - Sergey Brin |
