I have a triple monitor setup with the middle screen being my primary. When spanning a single image across the 3 screens the wallpaper is aligned wrong making the image look like: [3][1][2] instead of in order: [1][2][3]. In the preferences tab the option to drag and drop screens to realign them has no effect on how the wallpaper is spread. Am I understanding the option wrong or is it not working?

Firstly, you need to change wallpaper after changing order, it isn't automatic. But perhaps, the function don't work as you want, I think I need do some change to correct that.

hello, I've got similar problem with layout, very often after swtiching default three monitor setup to TV and back (all display devices are connected all the time) using xrandr scripts shutting down monitors and bringing a TV and doing it back, makes screen order "Default" which rearrange the order of displays and picture is cut wrongly... the other thing is that syncwall stopped displaying wallpaper - but it's probably case for other topic, because I sense that there is a problem after i did some software updates/changes - like gconftool-2 doesn't seem to do it's job properly... ah my setup is linux mint 17.1 qiana with cinnamon desktop...

ok, so I removed syncwall, cleaned apt, by autoremoving and purging, then reinstalled syncwall package (using ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8) - that doesn't change anything as I expected, but then I changed "Desktop integration" option from automatic, which selected Gnome Desktop to Gnome3 - and it's working properly again. So i'm back on question (request? :D ) how to make "rock-solid" setup with possibility to switch between screen setups and keep each of them as a separate config...
