Is it worth buying a wine fridge if your collection has fewer than 30 bottles?

I dream of having a big collection. I want to go to all kinds of tastings and courses, and I’m even thinking about looking for some official courses to become a pro sommelier. Of course, I already want to set up the whole collection at home. I just don’t know if it’s too early.

Well, right now it’s under 30. But in a year or two it’ll be over 30. And where are you going to put it all then? If you can, why not? Plus, your interest seems serious enough that it won’t fade after a couple of months.

Having extra room is the best call. Right now your collection isn’t that big, but one way or another you already need somewhere to keep it. You could start with compact wine refrigerators. But if I were you, I’d figure out a schedule for buying new bottles. If you plan on buying often and a lot, I’d go straight for a bigger fridge.
