Hallo,
I've installed SyncTerm out of the Synchronet Git tree (it reports version 1.2a) and when using it in SDL mode, AltGr (the right Alt key) is not working.
And given that I use a german keyboard layout, I'm not able to type @, [, ] or \, as these characters are only accessible with AltGr.
Using X11 mode, it is working.
Is it a configuration problem?
Thank you!
Regards,
Anna

I also have same issue.
I use Spanish keyboard layout, the atlgr is an issue at SDL 1.2 . I don't known if was fixed on SDL2
I guess that SyncTerm is switching to SDL2
Should be fixed in git now, let me know if it works for you please.
Looking into possible solutions for this one... it seems SDL2 doesn't have a portable mechanism to differentiate between ALT and AltGr because it's apparently expected that ALT is not used during text input for some reason.
Should be fixed in git now. SDL2 is insane when it comes to AltGr... I thought SDL1 was bad!
Installed Syncterm via Setup (v1.1). ALTGR also not working here...
Can confirm it's fixed on latest git 7ff0e5c882f0159ed7c2d9a7d0d4f98bb5b90907
SyncTERM 1.2b still not fixed
I build SyncTerm from git (1.2b) Debug (Mar 22 2024) and it's work.
.
I can use ALTgr (right alt at my spanish latinamerica keyboard distribution)
