#212 When running SyncTerm in Win32 console mode (-iW), copying text leaves off the last character highlighted

I saw this in Windows when running SyncTerm in Win32 console mode (with the -iW command line option). When selecting text to copy to the clipboard, SyncTerm leaves off the last character highlighted. As such, when I paste from the clipboard, the last character in my selection from SyncTerm is not there.
It seems RIP must be turned off for the BBS entry, or it's not able to select text at all (I imagine this may be intentional?).
My current setup:

• SyncTerm 1.8b (Nov. 22, 2025); I also saw the issue in version 1.7
• OS: Windows 11 25H2 (OS build 26200.7171)

That's up to the BBS. If the BBS is capturing mouse drag events, SyncTERM won't capture them. The 'M' in the status bar indicates mouse state, yellow if the remote is capturing them, grey if the remote wants to capture them but you've overridden that (via alt-u) and no 'M' if the remote has no interest in mouse events.

Should be fixed in the nightly build I just kicked off now. I assume you were using conhost and not terminal?

I'm not explicitly running it with conhost; I simply set up a shortcut to run SyncTerm with the -iW command-line parameter.

Yeah, there's various settings and can make it run under conhost or terminal... on my Windows system I apparently have set it up to run in terminal by default. 🤷

I have confirmed the bug appears to be fixed in last night's build.
