The Absinthe BBS has a screen shake function in the Skyraiders game, he is probably the only one doing this, but the screen shake function works perfectly fine in version 1.3, every version after that the screen shake function leaves weird artifacts on the screen. I've tested this on all version 1.4 and newer and found the bug there. Also tested on several computers.
I've attached a screen shot, you can see that the middle section sort of gets duplicated twice below the main image.

It's most noticeable by looking at the tail section of the airplane, you can see 2 partial copies lower on the screen. It's like some screen clearing routine isn't clearing the screen properly.
If you can provide how to connect (ie: what connection settings were used, including the protocol and address) and steps I can take to reproduce (generic like "go to the Skyraiders door game and get shot by an enemy), I'll be happy to take a look.
I found it... it looks like the issue is with CSI S... digging in now.
You are fast, I was just going to upload some screen shots/settings... Thanks so much!
I believe this is fixed in git now. I've kicked off my nightly build script so it should be updated on the SyncTERM website shortly. Thanks for the report, this was a tricky one!
If the nightly build works for you, please close this ticket to indicate that... if it's not fixed, just add a new comment to that effect.
Ok, so I went to the SyncTERM page and grabbed the alternate download of 64bit, opened the zip and copied it over the files in my syncTERM folder (Which I think was 32 bit since it was in the ProgramfileX86) It only over wote 2 of the files. Upon launching I got version 17b. Just wanted to be sure the correct upgrade procedure.
But that indeed did fix it!
I assume at some point those alternate downloads get rolled into the main download.
Thanks for fixing that bug so fast!
Yes, that should be fine for upgrading. I don't maintain the Windows installer, just the program itself. Great to hear it's fixed... I'll close the ticket (and look into why you couldn't).
The installers are updated when I do a release, which I expect to do within a month or two now... there's been a fairly long list of bug fixes in 1.7b, so it's time to get it to people.
I would close the ticket, but I don't see any way to do that, lol....
