RIPscrip rendering dies in Stack'Em door
Cross-platform BBS (ANSI) Terminal

I added Stack'Em (tetris clone) to my BBS and the RIPscrip rendering dies in this game after a few pieces. The UI becomes almost unresponsive. Replicate anywhere Stack'Em is installed or here: (https://serionbbs.com) or telnet connect.serionbbs.com. The game runs just fine in RIPterm 1.54 in DOSbox.

Hrm, I'm not sure I'm seeing the issue... just played a game (on Serion), and it was completely playable for me.
Well, what I do know is if you give BANSI a note with 0 duration
syncterm crashes. iirc, I haven't tried it in a year or so.

#206Fixed the ANSI music crash as well. Please file bugs (even anonymous ones) if you know of any other issues!
also i couldn't find my login info to close the ticket on sourceforge,
but the core dump is gone.

#206In testing however, I did note that the sound effects the door uses were badly implemented in SyncTERM. I've improved them in git and kicked off a rebuild to update the builds on the website. Possibly your system was having even more issues with those sounds than mine? Let me know if this latest change fixes your issue.
Added some more Stack'Em fixes for clearing the level compete notices and some corrupt screens.
Closing because I assume "the core dump is gone" means the fix worked...
