Running on ChromeOS, SyncTERM screen mode is set to "LCD 80x25" but when connecting to a BBS entry using C64 output mode, black bars appear on the left and right sides. After disconnecting, the SyncTERM windows have black bars (on left and right) and is now resized to not entirely fit on the screen. The same problem upon disconnect happens with an 80col C128 BBS entry.

Honestly, I'm probably not going to look at any more "black bars" issues from XWayland. Somewhere (another issue here, IRC chat logs) there's an investigation showing that XWayland is ignoring the size SyncTERM is requesting and forcing a different size. There's no way SyncTERM can fix that. At some point, I'll write a Wayland back end and it'll be fixable.

Okay. I thought the issue was previously fixed (?) and this was a regression.

    Moving to eternal-mystery status.

I believe this was the result of the window not being moved when it gets resized, so when it enlarges for a new mode, it runs into an edge.
