absolutely sure yes. i click cancel and see the network activity doesn't drop when copying to my nas going full speed for hours if the image file is huge.
not sure if it keeps going after that 1 huge file, but i usually have to reboot to stop it.

Are you sure? Normally it will finish copying the current file, then exit straight away; how can you tell it's still running?
