#63 Mirroring not reliable without getting a file preview before

No

I experienced that a sync (full mirroring used as a backup) did not perform correctly (sometimes) if I do not perform a preview before syncing. If I do the preview the result is OK though.

Can you expand a bit? Otherwise there's not much I can do with such a bug report...

I'll try to reproduce that somehow; in the meantime maybe some observation helps -- I'm not 100% sure (since it was some weeks ago now), but I think I remember there was something wrong with the file counters when the error appeared; either it was that they were not counting up at all, or they were zero initially and nothing happened -- something like this.
I was thinking back then that there may be some issue with the way you are collecting the files you're about to sync, the method might be different when the preview is called than when it's not executed.

If I can't get an example working (I really hope that it's not depending on some weird combination of file attributes or something like this... this could take days for me to figure out :) maybe you could take a look in that direction.

I'll get back to this soon!

I was not abled to reproduce it anyhow, Currently my backup is syncing about 11 of 10000 files so there's not mucht to do anyway; I'll keep an eye on it, I'll also expand my backup script so it dumps directory trees before backing up, maybe I'll be abled to reproduce it this way. Meanwhile I think you could close this bug...
