#72 Confused about timezone

ok, in my settings of ligthning i define my timezone as europe/berlin. in my.funambol my timezone is also at europe/berlin. but after syncing of my events all are 2 hours different. (as example: events which are started at 9 o'clock in ligthning, will start at 11 o'clock in my.funambol.com after syncing. on my cell phone the times are also 2 hours different as in lightning. i found on my.funambol.com the possible to enable/disable timezone settings (profile -> advanced) but this will not change something. all my events have 2 hours difference in the timesetting.

i don't know if this is a problem by funambol or the plugin

I've to clarify this issue:

the myFunambol portal doesn't support iCalendar yet. Only the new version (v7) of the Funambol server supports iCalendar. The Funambol Mozilla plugin sends iCalendar items... so if you want to sync timezones correctly you must use a v7 Funambol server, and set up a new iCalendar SyncSource.

I tried it today with my own Funambol (v7) Server, and it's working with correct times. The only thing is, that my Nokia E60 will not accept Cal Items if they are come as iCalendar. After switching to vCalendar in the Funambol Server it is working fine for me.

Hopefully the portal my.funambol.com will also switch to v7.
