Hi, all. I'm testing a fresh installation of Funambol v6.5 which I've installed on a Linux server (CentOS 4 - RHEL 4 equivalent). I've followed the instructions in the Administration guide for configuring the Email Connector for account creation, so "Officer" has been switched to .../EmailOfficer.xml and the IMAP mail server I want to use for authentication/synchronization configured in the "FunambolEmailConnector" section. As I understand it, I shouldn't need to create Users/Devices because they should automatically be created (and associated as Principals) the first time a device attempts to synchronize. I've installed the Blackberry Funambol client and configured it to connect to the Funambol server, but when I try and synchronize, I receive the following error: "Synchronization failed. Invalid tunnel name." I've tried various combinations of checking services in the client, but I expect that only "mail" should work right now since I haven't enabled the PIM Listener or the CTP Server yet (though they're installed). No matter what I do, I get that error message. Any pointers to further documentation or suggestions as to what I might be missing would be greatly appreciated! Ultimately I'd like to use Funambol for mobile device synchronization to Scalix and SugarCRM, but I've got to get the pieces working before I can tie the whole thing together. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer! Nels Lindquist |
