Simple:
Have incremental search to work a la emac style:
Ctrl-S (configurable off course, this is an example)
would do incremental search forward. Subsequent
Ctrl-S would go to the next match.
If you do not match, you could back track simply by
backspacing. then continue with Ctrl-S.
This is a very simple state machine that could be
implemented in a couple of hours or so since most
of the incr search is already working.
Incremental search backwards should work
identicaly.
Thanks for this wonderful thing. Who the heck
needs other editor? (Well I have to admit I _also_
use emacs from time to time).
