I found an earlier discussion (from 2012) on non-invasive database sources (no triggers, tables or other stuff added to the source database), but haven't found anything since then.
We have a setup where we need to replicate/migrate data from a MSSQL Always-On mirror in near real time (1 to 3 minutes propagation time, neglible ping-time, small data size). The mirrored database is by MSSQL design strictly read-only. The database and table monitoring thus needs to be driven from the changes in the filesystem (log and transaction files). It is not described in the documentation, but I was wondering if anyone was already looking into this or working on something.

MSSQL log based replication is on the roadmap for 3.12 SymmetricDS professional.
