#9 SyMBA strips file extensions from submitted files

Feature request:

Can we not strip the uploaded file extensions when things are uploaded?

I took some files from the back-end of the SyMBA (yes I appreciate this is a rare case) to use in another system which *absolutely requires* (wrongly) extensions to be present. Consequently I had to rename all the files before I could use them.

I assume this also affects files downloaded from the interface, but have not confirmed this.
