Without actually answering your question ;-), thanks for expressing
this requirement. Adrian, Julie and myself have been discussing the
possibility of having a workshop at OR09 to look at how we can support
this better - at the moment you can do this with SWORD, but extension
is needed to communicate the intention that the package represents a
collection rather than an item. Expect more soon!
