In circumstances when modified/forged packets are detected, alice and bob should perhaps follow up by running traceroutes to each other so that there is a record of some routers which might have been associated with the interference.
The Version Zero protocol contains a message that is suitable for reporting these traceroutes -- it just isn't used yet.
The client can send it using AliceLink.send_message("traceroute", ["1.2.3.4", type, results])
type is supposed to be a string containing the traceroute command (eg "traceroute" or "mtr --report" or "mtr -n --report" or "nmap --traceroute" or whatever else someone decided to implement)
results is the traceroute output string
Tracerouter.py in the trunk now collects these routes, but we aren't using it yet.
