A cross platform console based regression test tool for web applications written in Eiffel. A proxy server records XML scripts with any web browser. Playback these scripts to verify the web application's output is unchanged. This release adds support for the normalize_content element allowing test playback to ignore any differences in content matching a regular expression.
The project is looking a volunteer who is willing to compile, package, test and release (through the Source Forge file release system) unencumbered windows binaries for the project. For owners of an ESI 5.5 compiler this should be straight forward. Compiling under Smart Eiffel may require some weaking.
An updated beta version of swete has been released. This update adds support for the future_date_location element and properly handles meta refresh tags in content received from the server.
