Sweet Home 3D is an interior design application that helps you place your furniture on a house 2D plan, with a 3D preview. This software can be run and installed with Java Web Start from project web site at http://www.sweethome3d.eu/.
Some Sweet Home 3D installers bundled with Java as well as a JAR executable file are also provided for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux at http://sourceforge.net/projects/sweethome3d/download.
The version 1.8 provides the ability to lock the base plan, the export at SVG format, an applet that displays the 3D view of Sweet Home 3D files, localizations in Greek and Chinese (Simplified), and other changes described at http://www.sweethome3d.eu/history.html.
