The currency symbol in brackets should be ¤ - i.e. html entity curren : currency, just in case the character did not display correctly.
Just an elaboration of the cut/paste and .csv import/export, trick is importing this .csv.
1) the currency+number is not recognised as such, but imports as text,
2) decimal separator and thousands separator may not be the same - typically using EN version of SH3D and another national locale in spreadsheets.
No 1) I have not found an easy fix for, espeically with differnt currencies, unless a (quick) text-edit to either separate or remove currency denominator. (Percentages however, are recognised in all tested spreadsheets: gnumeric, libreoffice, excel.)
No 2) is proably only a problem for users with different languages and locales. And it is easily fixed, but could result in that not round numbers will import as text unless adjusted in the spreadsheet dialogue. In the example below, the third Aquarium W/D/H are not calculated in Excel import.
.csv / clipboard
Import where 1) currency ends in same cell and 2) thousands and decimal separators are different in SH3D and spreadsheet (and number ends up as text or wrong value):

A tiny additional suggestion if no currency sign/generic currency sign ever were to be implemented. As the above file shows it seems possible to use multiple currencies in one SH3D file. And SH3D behaves nicely. Of course, without calculating totals :-)
But to do this, one has to set the alternate currency in preferences (I think) before editing the furniture. And if I want to adjust the £ value for the bucket above, I must make sure the preference is also £, if not furniture price is changed both in price and currency.
Would it be more convenient to allow for setting the (alternative) currency in the Modify Furniture dialgue as well?
ok
PS - this may be a noticable issue only for non-euro countries, but in Scandinavia, the UK, Switzerland and around, the need for multiple currencies will occur at times.
