If I draw walls, it isn't clear if the dimensions shown are interior or exterior. If I want to resize a wall, I can click and drag it, but I don't get feedback on the walls that are attached to it and growing.
The tutorial says walls first, rooms as step #6. But it turns out that if I draw rooms, I get better feedback about the dimensions. I can resize rooms somewhat better because there is feedback. Oddly, I can only resize rooms by dragging corners, not walls. But when I drag the corner, by definition two walls change length, but the tooltip only reports one wall, and it isn't clear which wall it is reporting.
It would be nice to have a simpler way to drag-resize rooms and get feedback about the interior and exterior dimensions.
Yes please.
Show ALL the changing dimensions if possible. Particularly interior and exterior dimensions of the wall being re-sized (maybe a pop-up box. But nice if it could show all and any dimensions that are changing.
This would great help the long-running issue about editing rooms to a particular interior size - see all the forum discussions.
Thanks
I received a PM from user "vivek...." saying
"PL call it ' inner ' & ' outer ' dimensions for simplicity & brevity"
Yes, when drawing a specific dimension, I need to know if it is an inside dimension, outside dimension, or center of wall dimension. Center of walls seems to be what it interprets, but not always sure.
