Hello,

First : Great work guys

It would be a great feature being able to select objects through the 3D view.
In my project I have multiple object "layers" and it's pretty hard to select the bottom one for instance. I have to move the others first or search it in the list.
What about being able to select an object with a single click ? (I'm not talking about moving objects, just select it).

Thanks in advance for your remarks.

Regards

    Hello,

    Remarque :

    Bon week-end

Adding such a feature would oblige to oblige to introduce different modes in the 3D view (navigate or select) and I'm not very found of that. If you want to select an object among superimposed ones, please use the existing menu Select object that appears in the contextual menu where you right click in the plan.

Hi, I understand your point of view.
But there is a difference between a mouse clic in the 3D View a drag and drop.
Currently nobody clics in the view in order to move the camera except on the arrows.
    Clic action is actually unused.
    You see what I mean.

that would be a great feature. Espeically, when the 2D view gets crowded with additional things like lights, outlets and so on

The Select object / Toggle selection item was added in the contextual menu of the 3D view in version 6.3.
