I just tried the Furniture Library Editor for the first time.

  • It starts up okay (although on my MacBook pro, the menu bar shows the application name as FurnitureLibraryEditorBootstrap).
  • I opened the Scopia Furniture Library. No problems.
  • I right-clicked on a piece of furniture and select Modify.

CRASH! I’ve attached the crash log to this ticket.

I don’t know if this is connected to the crash, but I noticed that this commit:

https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/code/6899/

Includes a library that is NOT listed in the tag for Release 1.25. Here’s the same file from tag 1.25:

https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/code/6898/tree//tags/V_1_25/FurnitureLibraryEditor/build.xml

Could this be the reason for the crash?

I forgot to mention: The crash is reproducible for me. Every time I attempt to edit an item from a furniture library, the program crashes.

The Furniture Library Editor as well as Sweet Home 3D JAR Executable can't run with Java >= 9 under macOS for the moment. Please run it with Java 8 until further notice (probably next version, once JOGL will be able to run with more recent Java versions under that system).

Furniture Library Editor 1.26 now supports Java ≥ 9
