Hello, using SweetHome3D on Ubuntu 24.04 (flatpak v7.4). I noticed that the icons do not change with dark theme, making most of them unreadable. If you look at the screenshot attached, you will see that the icon to measure distance has black text/lines, making it very hard to see with a dark background.

Would it be possible to change the icons to grey if you don't want to change them or have separate icons with white/light grey for dark theme?

thanks for the link. so the recommendation would be to use a different icon set (from the flatlaf theme)?

I don't recommend anything, just reporting the tests made by some other contributors.
byDMA chose to redefine some icons, instead of using the reverse video version of the existing ones. If you don't like it, it shouldn't take too long to use the existing ones.

thanks for the clarification. you mentioned reverse video which I take to mean the swap from black to white (as mentioned in the other thread). However, I looked in the folder you linked and the dimension line icon does has black lines. this means that in my case the icon is not getting changed so no reverse video effect is applied: https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/SweetHome3D/src/com/eteks/sweethome3d/swing/resources/actions/plan-create-dimension-lines.svg

is this the reverse video effect meant to apply automatically? is there a setting to force this?

The new icons were designed to be easily adapted to a dark mode, but nothing else was programmed yet to apply a reverse video effect automitically.
